We had the occasion to stay with the Comfort Inn in Farmville every Saturday night for four straight weeks. This was our last stay and we appreciated everything about the place. The desk staff was always courteous and friendly. The morning breakfast ladies were welcoming and always cleaning the space making it more appealing for breakfast.

It was a bad hotel and a bad management. We went through you and the Comfort Inn not only billed us checking in they charged again at checkout and took a 5 days to clear it up. Stay away from this hotel.

There were multiple stains (your guess is as good as mine) all over both bedspreads). We promptly removed them and the remaining linens appeared clean (I can only hope!). Food ran out in the breakfast room with 30 minutes to go and the breakfast lady had an attitude about restocking.

We reserved this hotel for one night so we could visit a nearby college. Hotel was tidy and about what we expected for this location. Major complaint is that our non-smoking room reeked heavily of cigarette smoke, compounded by heavy doses of Febreeze which made for an eye-watering combination. Yuck.

We were very happy. The neighborhood wasn't fancy but there is a Mexican restaurant in the same parking lot. It was very close to downtown and everything we needed. They were VERY pet friendly and the grounds were perfect for our dog. Jerrell was the nicest clerk we have had in a long time. Would recommend this hotel highly!

MY husband and I found the staff friendly and helpful, but the rooms need some major updating. The carpet looked well worn and the furntiture was in bad need of refinishing. Not quite up to Comfort Inn's quality.
