This place is run down, the lobby is dirty and smelly. The rooms are OK but the walls are thin and you can hear every squeak from three rooms away. The breakfast is sub par and you pay for parking your car. Avoid it like the plague, go only if you don't have enough money.

Overall okay clean. The hotel is like 15 minutes walk to the subway. The walk is not all friendly. About 5 min walking by highway is dangerous. They do have a third party running a shuttle but very low frequency.

The hotel is quite run down. There's a strange smell in the corridors. The rooms are okay. But I found the bed to be quite unconformable. The service at the front desk was horrendous. I checked in quite late and I forgot to give them my car's license plate number. So they ticketed my car for $70! And they refused to refund the fine. Hotel is in a convenient place HWY 404 and Sheppard Ave. Hotel seems very dated however. In need of a full renovation and overhaul to be up to date with other similarly priced hotels in Toronto. Not as advertised. No restaurant on site, no bar on site. The TV did not work when we got to our room, we called the front desk and they were going to send somebody right up. After an hour and a half we called the front desk back and they said change to chanel 24, we had to do this everytime we turned the TV on. Good choice if you need a hotel in this neighborhood. Continental breakfast was OK, but nothing to write home about. Hallways had somewhat "oily" smell from the cleaning, but cleanliness in the room was OK (and w/o the smell). Very happy with this hotel / room. Bed was super comfortable. We arrived late (around midnight) and the hotel was quiet. no parties on our floor, to my knowledge. Bed was comfortable, room was clean,and service at the front desk could have been better. The worst part was the lack of lighting in the parking lot, making the hotel hard to find the first night, in addition to walking in the dark after parking our car to get into the place.

We went to Toronto for family trip. To get to the downtown using TTC it takes an hour and half. Service was ok but there was little odor in the room with no ventilation of the air not even in bathroom. Ice mahine was broken. Breakfast was just coffee, small piece of bread, and cereal. But it was cheaper than other hotels.

Our first experience in the hotel was with two very rude and unwelcoming receptionists. It seemed, they did not like their job. They asked us to sign forms without explaining what we were signing. At the end of check in, we were asked to pay for nightly parking eventhough their ad was listing free parking. I have to say, out of 7 days staying in the hotel, they were 3 beautiful, polite and understanding receptionists who were helpful and experienced. The rooms were ok and the cleaning lady try for best to provide service within her allowance. The bathroom tub and faucets needs to be maintained. the aircondition made a lot of noise. The room was supposed to be sound proof but through out the night, we could hear the neighbor's and highway noise.In general, the hotel was not maintained, and seems the owner is just trying to get by with as little as possible. Pool area was in a very bad condition. the tile were broken. lots of hair and debries in the water. towels by the pool were torned...... Loved our stay here. Pool area was great, rooms were clean and comfortable. The only thing that we did not like was the complimentary breakfast. Should have served some warm foods such as eggs or waffles. We had to go out for breakfast as the hotel breakfast was not good.

I stayed at this hotel mainly because of the complimentary breakfast, pool, and price. It was a little farther away than I expected. There was a little confusion as to whether or not the breakfast was included in our stay since I booked online...but one of the staff cleared that up for us. The breakfast was not much to brag about...Just bagels, muffins, […] toast, dry cereal, pastries, and juice. No fruit and only vanilla yogurt served on 2 out of the 4 mornings we were there. Don't forget to bring your vouchers down for the breakfast. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub but on 1 of the 2 times we went there were no towels set out. Overall our experience was a good one. Would recommend for someone needing a hotel in the North East of Toronto...but try to avoid the Don Valley and 401 during rush hour! Read more

THIS IS THE WORST HOTEL I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED. I booked this hotel because I was running a marathon in Toronto. I booked through hotels.com and called to speak to someone personally to ensure that I could check out late from the hotel the following day so that my friends and I could shower after our race. I requested late checkout at 2:30pm when I arranged […] the booking, this was confirmed by hotels.com personnel. I got to the hotel and they told me the latest I could check out was 1:30pm. They advertised complimentary breakfast, we only got 2 breakfast tickets for 4 people. We could purchase extra tickets at $5 each. We had to PAY for parking! We forgot toothbrushes and we were offered very low quality toothbrushes at $4 each. We go up to the room and the hallway smelled like something was rotting. The room was acceptable cleanliness. It was very loud in the hallway all night. Breakfast at the hotel was stated to begin at 6:30am. We go to the lobby at 6:30 and there is no one present and no food whatsoever! We had to arrange for breakfast somewhere else. We ran the marathon and finished at 12:30, had to hurry back to the hotel, we were running late because one of our friends was injured and barely made it out by 1:45. The hotel manager was not accommodating to our situation (even though it was a SUNDAY afternoon) to extend our check out time to help us out. I am very unhappy with our stay, this is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Read more

The hotel and room amenities were great except I couldn't figure out the WIFI if there was any. Also there is a younger lady who works the front desk during the day when we checked in and she helped amazingly. There was an instance where we where standing at the front desk for over 5+ minutes waiting to ask a simple question (where can we get currency […] exchanged?) and the same lady was helping a customer on the phone while 2-3 other employees passed us by like we were nobody. She (same young lady) realized this and put someone on hold who appeared to be booking for a group and quickly answered our question. I wish I could have remembered to get her name so I could call and give her a great review but this is the best I can do since her name has slipped my mind. Initially given a room on the freeway side on 2nd floor. Bad move - very noisy. the hotel changed my room without any fuss - 8th floor on the other side. Much better. Hotel is worn but comfortable. Service was polite. Bend (King) was comfortable enough. No bugs :-) A range of pillows which was nice. Breakfast was more like a Best Western - continental […] style / limited but decent. Local facilities are non-existant (I knew that from other reviews). This is an office park - not a hotel district. Nearest Mall is about 20 minutes walk and has Starbucks, fast food, etc. You really need a car unless you are visiting one of the local businesses or you can walk the metro. The line starts near the Mall (20 min walk) and it can get you into downtown in about an hour with one change. Overall, got a room at 1/2 downtown rates. My business was mid-town so reasonably convenient for that. Don't expect anything above the absolute basics and you'll be satisfied. Read more
