The shower in the first room needed fixing..the tub filled up with water as the shower ran and the tub faucet also ran while running the shower. I was given another room immediately,but the phone and refridgerator didn't work in that one either...which I didn't know until the next morning when all of my food in the refridgerator was spoiled...when I told the front desk agent, she apologized,but it didn't seem sincere.

The Westin Poinsett is right downtown, an easy walk to just about anywhere one wants to go downtown. There are many places to eat nearby as well as in the hotel, and it is both safe and interesting to walk the main streets. The exercise room is large and well-equipped. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a bathroom counter top that is right for a short grandmother like me.

Not too bad for the price, but you can do better for cheaper, usually. The breakfast was nasty. The room was okay, but the bathroom door (which slides) would not close all the way.

Our first room had a malfunctioning A/C. Only showers in bathrooms (not good if you have little kids). Also, there was no continental breakfast prepared in the morning... who knows why not. Disappointed in our stay.

HEALTH ALERT: If you or your family members have Asthma or Breathing Disorders, you should not stay here. There is mold growing in the corners of the Bathroom ceiling, and our room was not the only one. The minute we walked in the room smelled like dirty dog. The Wi-Fi was not reliable, the breakfast bar did not have fresh options - fruit and pastry […] had been sitting there for days. The Wi-Fi was not consistent, and the Business Center did not work at all. The staff did not seem to be experienced and were rather non-chalant, with the exception of one receptionist. Do not let the name fool you - I recommend you pass on this hotel. We often stay at Ramada Inns and we were very disappointed by this hotel. You should be able to find something priced similiary with better quality. Read more

The lobby and breakfast area were clean. The carpets on the 2nd floor where we stayed was dirty and worn. It was not vaccumed. The doors were labeled non smoking on this floor but cigarette smoke could be smelled. A cigarette butt was on the floor of the 2nd floor at the elevator entrance when we arrived and still on the floor the day we departed. Wasted […] soda and corn chips were on the floor where the ice machine was when we arrived and was still there when we departed. Hallway was never vaccumed. Dead bugs were next to the wall on the hall way carpet. Our room was two doors from the end of the hall so we saw the entire hall each day. The carpet was warn and slick at the elevator entrance. Frayed edges could be seen on the carpet up and down the hall. Also the hall way was warm, not airconditioned and stuffy. Our room carpet was not vaccumed after our first night. Both rooms we were given had an odor. We couldn't stay there. Then because we had checked in earlier without going to the room they charged us the first night for staying there even though we did not stay in the rooms. That is horrible service!

It was one of the lowest priced rooms in the area, but the bed was firm and comfortable with a nice variety of pillows. Good for a one night stop. The room was small, but the king size bed was comfortable. The bathroom was also small, without a bathtub, but the shower was very large with plenty of hot water... a pleasant surprise! The staff was friendly and the continental breakfast was good.

They gave us a smoking room - claimed it was the only one available. The whole floor had a really foul order. One bed had blood on the sheets and looked like it had not been changed.

This is strictly your stop over motel. Its fine for one night. Room was clean but the bathroom although clean, needs a good deep scrubbing. No bathub, shower only. TV was fuzzy. Location is good. many restaurants and a mall within short driving distance. Staff very nice. Breakfast basics. No real hot food, just grab n go. EZ on/off interstate.

CONVENEINT, STAFF FRIENDLY. ONCE IN THE ROOM AND GETTING SETTLED IN FOR A QUICK NITES SLEEP' NOTICED THE HAIRDRYER WAS COVERED WITH DUST AND THE HANDLE WAS DIRTY. SOMETIMES IT IS JUST A COUPLE LITTLE THINGS THAT CAN MAKE YOUR DECISION TO NOT RETURN TO A HOTEL/MOTEL OR A PLACE TO EAT.
