Ok but management not customer friendly. Booked room with breakfast, hotel management denied they included breakfast in the rate quoted. Until I was able to get home and show hotels.com the web page where I got my information, I was unable to resolve the situation. Fortunately hotels.com reimbursed me for costs.

The hotel was very nice and the staff was very friendly. The location is great, right near the main interstate and right on Hwy 280. The room is very nice. I really loved the flat screen tv. My only minor complaint is that the bathrooms were a little cramped. But we had a wonderful time in a wonderful hotel.

The hotel is undergoing major renovations, which made coming in and going out an inconvenience. Since they were tearing up the lobby, it didn't add to the ambiance of the experience. Also, a fire alarm went off at 1:30 in the morning, and all guests had to leave the hotel. We were then sent back to our rooms with virtually no explanation as to what had happened or why. The hotel was clean, and the pool area was very nice. The desk personnel were polite, but not very informative, particularly with regard to the fire alarm. The room was clean and comfortable.

The air conditioning system did not get the humidity out of the room. As soon as I entered, it was very clammy. Lowering the temperature did not help, so we spent as little time as possible in the room. At dinner, I ordered a GlenFidditch on the rocks and imagine my surprise to see in on the bill for $11.75. WOW, that is half of the bottle at retail.

We registered late for the Vulcan Cup and were limited on available hotels left. We were surprised by the ease of reaching the soccer fields and the "must have" of a Cracker Barrel within sight of the hotel. My only complaint would be the lack of a fridge/microwave in the room and a lack of a breakfast offered for the amount paid for the room/stay.

Bed was so comfortable! Staff was super friendly. Went to Birmingham without renting a car, but ended up renting one so we could see the sites downtown. The shuttle takes you to airport and sites within 5 miles. Downtown Birmingham was 8 miles. Taxi fee from downtown to the hotel was $22.00 and we needed to go downtown several times. It was very easy to get from the hotel to downtown on my own. I would love to stay at this hotel in the future!

We needed to get away from home renovations and our five children, so we stayed at this hotel (required no travel since we're locals). We only have two complaints. One was that the ceiling was peeling in one area. The other is that they charged us $1 for each local phone call (I made two). The hotel staff that we saw were pleasant and professional. The bed was comfortable & they gave us plenty of pillows. The bedding was plush, comfortable and pretty.

I chose the hotel because of the bedding. We were not disappointed. VERY COMFORTABLE. A+++++. Our bathroom was a bit too small for us, but we usually stay in suites and this was not a suite. We had to take turns getting ready. One floor lamp did not work, but I'm sure if we had mentioned this, they would have replaced it for us. The staff was VERY friendly and ready to assist at any moment. We are used to receiving full breakfast included in price, but this hotel does not offer even continental breakfast for no additional cost. They do, however, have a menu to choose from if guests want to purchase breakfast and have it delivered by room service. The internet service was just over $9 a day, and we usually stay in hotels that offer this option in the room at no additional cost. HOWEVER, the service was very fast and reliable, so no real complaints. All in all, this is a great place to stay.
