I found this gem of an hotel. The staff was very accomodating of any request and the neighborhood was in easy walking distance of a variety of necessary places, like dining, convenience stores, and money changers. The brgy has an abundance of security guards, so I always felt safe no matter what time I ventured into it. I would most definitely stay again.
"Very comfortable hotel! Best price and location!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Dec 25, 2012
Very comfortable hotel in a modern building! You can't beat the price and location of this hotel in Makati. They could do better on the towel quality or shower curtains. Otherwise, everything was perfect!
"Good location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Dec 24, 2012
We stayed a week at St. Illian's. The Inn was only 15 years old but the building was much older. The walls are thin and the water pipes noisy. It was well kept considering its age. The Inn had a quaint feel about it, almost like something out of a Humphrey Bogart movie. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room had hot water, but not as hot as in an American hotel. The hotel cafe ranged from very good to weird. The blueberry pancakes are addictive; they are that good! When the menu says serves two, believe it. The meals are very generous and reasonably priced. We tried many of the dishes for breakfast and dinner. In general we liked most of them except a couple of vegetarian dishes. The Inn is within walking distance to many stores, but the neighborhood is somewhat seedy. That is its main drawback. The Inn is supposed to be non-smoking, but people smoked outside our room in the hallway. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at St. Illian's and would stay there again.

it's a great hotel for the money. while it's not a top of the line fancy place, it's a place to sleep and close to a lot of major attractions in manila.

"Close to the business district and restaurants"Reviewed by Lorna R of "Panama" on Mar 28, 2011
The hotel is within walking distance to many restaurants and a short taxi ride from many shops. Great customer service too.I would recommend it to anyone visiting Makati. I hope to return one day.
