This hotel is good value for the money. The room was big, clean and we had a great view of the canal. The hotel is very close to tram stations, restaurants and super markets. We would definitely consider this hotel again.

Very nice hotel, but no free wifi was kind of annoying. Otherwise very clean and contemporary. The Restaurant/Bar was very good to.

The staff was great, the location is where you want to be in Amsterdam, the rooms were very nice and clean. It would be nice if the taxis did not have to park across the street, but I am sure it is because this area was built long before cars. Highly recommend and plan to go back again in a couple of months.

The tower has been converted to a 17 floors hotel. It has been totally re- novated and with 4 elevators the wait for them is never long. Everything in my room was brand new and comfortable; the bed was a true double size; there is space to hang up coats, 3 large and deep shelves and 2 compartments including the one in the desk. One desk, a chair and a window seat. I travel solo, so the size of the room was good but, if there are two persons, they may have to dance around each other. The bathroom was roomy and you have to learn to deal with the shower. Turn the shower head towards the wall, and since it is a hand held shower head use it as such to rinse. This way you have control of the water and the bath floor remains dry. Don't splash until you get home!! Not as big deal. The tram is around the corner and it takes exactly 15 minutes to get to Central station. All the employees were very pleasant and professional and the overall service was really excellent!! The breakfast buffet was plentiful but agree with others that it is on the expensive side; however I didn't find any other hotel in Amsterdam for this price w/ breakfast included like I have in many other countries. Excellent wifi in the room and free of charge. The area around the hotel is quiet and that's what I prefer. I will stay in this hotel again and recommend it to others. Almost forgot! good shuttle to and from the airport.
