It was a great experience to stay here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and very convenient. The location is hard to beat. I requested a room with a view and our windows opened up to Rembrandt plaza. They tell you to choose, a room inside is quieter or a room with a view comes with street noise. I didn´t care about the noise I wanted a view of the plaza. Right outside there´s a tram station and from there you can go anywhere in the city. Here´s the plus:I forgot my camera memory card with all our trip pictures in the safety box, so I called them as soon as I landed in the US and the front desk lady (Fida) was extremely helpful and mailed it back to my home. I 100% recommend this hotel.

the rembrandtplein hotel is in a really nice location!! the hotel is small but pretty charming! breakfast was ok, toast eggs. jam, ham... well basics, but good! hotel staff was really helpfull! great view from canal! .. totally recommended!

I love staying at the Asterisk. It is easy to reach via tram from Central Station. It's only a short walk or tram ride to the Museum District and the Leidesplein area.I have stayed there several times and like the personal attention from the staff. Although some of the rooms are quite small, they are always clean and comfortable enough if you aren't planning on spending a lot of time in your room. Free WiFi is provided.

Hotel mosaic was great, located in a new building, they have hardwood flooring where most other hotels use carpeting. Location is10 min by tram 1 from central station. The room is a little small however, considering we only used the room to sleep, it was fine. We did have a balcony which was nice, and the hotel cleaned the room everyday, left extra toiletries when asked. If you can stay here do so, you won't b disappointed

Very new, clean, and comfortable hostel, but it's a bit out of the way (in Zeeburg). You'll definitely need to buy public transportation passes (~7.00 Eur for daily) in order to get to all the sights. Also a bit of an older crowd -- if you're hoping to meet other young travelers, look elsewhere. Having said that, if you want a clean, cheap room and you don't mind the out of the way location, it's a good option.

Staff was very helpful. Room clean and modern. Mattress was on bed frame and after the last night could really start to feel the frame below. They should have the mattress on a box spring or doubled.

Excellent location and nice management. The rooms are basic, but the beds were really comfortable. Really enjoyed my stay.
