This normally above average hotel is getting an aggressive facelift via heavy construction outside and minor inconveniences inside. In spite of all the construction, noise was kept to a minimum. For anyone visiting the AkzoNobel headquarters, the hotel has a free shuttle during morning and evening commute times that takes you door to door, which was a real plus, and the driver was an exceptionally great guy with loads of personality. What was disappointing was my room's mini bar remained completely empty the entire time I stayed, and since I was not sleeping well due to a significant time change I could have really used the service. Other than that I give the staff kudos for being very pleasant, helpful, and business-as-usual during a very aggressive makeover.” 09/06/09
