"Much Love for Milano"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 6, 2013
Milano was a very nice place to stay. I got a great deal on my room which persuaded me to stay there, and I was glad I did. It was in a convenient location near trams, shops, and the city center. There is a nice bar in the lobby that is open until midnight, and a lovely breakfast in the morning. The rooms were very quiet and clean. The service was top notch. It isn't your typical hotel. It's older and has a lot of character. I would stay here again when I am next in Rotterdam! *****

Very clean room- simple but fit our needs well; friendly staff; quick 5-10 minute walk from Rotterdam Centraal Station. Would definitely return. We were sad we missed the free breakfast (we left before 6 and it started at 630) because we had heard good things!

The Wi-fi is not as strong as expected in my room.
"Convenient to family, shopping, and transportation"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 14, 2012
We decided on this hotel because it was in the area that fit best with our needs. From previous reviews noting the less than clean carpet, we were more than pleasantly surprised to find the room very clean, carpet and all. In fact, the entire hotel was very clean. The rooms are a comfortable size, including a sitting area and desk. The staff was most courteous, friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here in the future.

"Great Location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 10, 2012
I stayed here for a week and have nothing but good things to say. First, thanks to all the staff. The front desk and restaurant staff were friendly and always helpful. The hotel has free Wifi and the breakfast was good and the food plentiful. I paid a little extra for the private bathroom and got a room with a great view of the Eramus Bridge and the river. The room was clean and the service was just fine and I have no complaints. Outside the front door are trams, water taxis, tour boats of various sizes and a nice riverfront for taking a quite walk in a peaceful neighborhood. Many attractions, shopping and restaurants were all within walking distance. I understand and expect the rooms in Europe to be smaller than in the U.S. so I knew what I was getting and I don't let that get in the way of my vacations. I don't spend that much time in the rooms anyway. I would recommend the Maritime Hotel and stay here again.

Hotel serves its purpose. Room is small and basic. Location to most businesses are within walking distance or a short cab ride.
"pleasant staff and great location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jul 31, 2012
Stay was very good. However, parking was very expensive as compared to hotels with their own garage (e.g., Park Hotel). I wonder if they cannot make an arrangement with the public parking next door.
"Very Remote! Ok Service"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jun 29, 2012
Not for tram tram stop but tram stop is remote from everything else. Location is fine if you like local neighborhood and not touristy spots.
