Hotel Sentral has been updated, and is very comfortable as well as affordable. Hotel breakfast is good, with great friendly staff.

Was between Georgetown and most famous beach. Bus right outside and very cheap. We had a wonderful lady help us at reception with buses, places to eat etc. Breakfast was very nice and staff friendly. Beach maintained beautifully at back. Just did not have much time to enjoy facilities there. I would say beaches are still better in queensland but that is the case in most areas. Can not beat our surf beaches.
