"Beautiful Borneo by the sea"Reviewed by B Toogood of "London" on Sep 15, 2009
This is a great place to stay if you have a few days to spend in Sarawak and want to chill out by the beach. It's set in a beautiful location, nestled between the stunning Mt Santubong and the South China Sea. It's only a short hop from Kuching and all of the travel connections are relatively cheap and efficient. There are plenty of opportunities to explore the surrounding area - be it independently or on an organised tour. The rooms are huge and very comfortable - the rates are great value for money. The food and service at all of the restaurants is of a high standard. The seafood restaurant was our favourite. The only negative is that the bar prices are extortionate by comparison to everything else, but don't let this minor annoyance put you off. We stayed for 9 nights and would love to return one day...
