"Romanitc Relaxing get away"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 4, 2013
Crowne Plaza check in time is 3 PM. We arrived at noon and they let us lock up our luggage in a room until we were done shopping at a local market. I requested a specific room, which hotels.com confirmed would be available to me at a certain price. Hotels.com confirmed the room price but Crowne Plaza stated a higher price for the room I wanted. Not good!!

Overall the hotel is very nice. The only things bad about it are trying to get to it and the noise from the autopista. It is very hard to get to the entrada. It sets on a hill overlooking the city and if you miss the only entrada from the autopista you have to go all the way around the hill which takes about 5 minutes to try again. Then getting back on it is an adventure also. The autopista runs all the way around the hill and the trucks are useing thier air brakes contantly and it is very loud in the rooms. But the views are great and it has a very large and nice pool which is hard to find anywhere. The rooms are very large too with nice balcony's.You have to drive quite awhile to get to anything. It is close to Tlaquepaque and Tonala though but not Guadalajara Centro.Driving in this city is a real challenge.

"Very clean, excellent service, very quiet"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 6, 2012
I stayed for two weeks. It was all excellent: very quiet, very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the best I had (by far) at any Holiday Inn (and several other hotels). Highly recommended.
"Just at the edge of the shopping mall"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 26, 2012
Very clean, good breakfast and friendly employees. Just at the end of Plaza del Sol with many places to shop and dine. On the down side the heavy traffic of the two avenues makes you wake up early and the noise of the very loud speakers of the stores nearby don't allow you to rest late on weekends but, if you are an early morning person looking for just for a place to sleep and have a good breakfast and don't want to spent too much $$ this is the place to be.
