"Nice place"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 28, 2013
Fun hotel to stay in with plenty of activities. Hotel was clean and tidy although the place is a little old and tired. All up but it was a nice place to stay with friendly and helpful staff.
"Impressed"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 17, 2013
For the price, we were very happy. Loved having the space as the badroom closes off to the sitting area. The service and hotel was excellent and welcoming.

"GREAT BREAKFAST! Beach right around the corner"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Aug 11, 2012
The hotel security was terrific, staff knowledgeable--kind of stark, but had everything anyone could want like TV, plenty of towels, terrific free wifi and breakfast. We would stay again.
"Mixed bag"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 2, 2011
Fantastic lobby, very modern and spacious, well air conditioned...too bad the same cannot be said of the hallways or the rooms. Hallways were opened to the very very humid climate. Rooms were small and outdated, with truly horrible wall lamps...also since the hallways aren't enclosed or air conditioned the room's ac unit couldn't keep up and nothing we hung up was able to dry. The staff was all very good with the exception of one front desk employee, they were welcoming and warm, however since this is a resort town they should really improve their english, I found myself conversing with them mostly in spanish.
"Much much better than expected"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jul 23, 2010
This a great little hotel for the budget traveler. Pros for my experience: Reliable WiFi access; good air conditioner; balcony with nice view of the hills; hot shower (you have to let the hot water run for a while before it reaches your room); big king size bed; pool with tiki bar and talking parrot. Cons: a bit of a walk up the hill from the beach (but still centrally located); the room was old and not in the best of repair (but still clean and spacious); my room had no t.v. (not important to me).
"Romano Palace - EXCELENT PARTY LOCATION"Reviewed by Chen N of "Vancouver, BC" on May 24, 2010
Romano Palace is a very clean hotel with super friendly staff. The front desk speaks excellent english. The BEST part about Romano Palace is the location, across from the beach and right in the heart of the party with a dozen clubs across the street. Warning! The clubs across the street are loud on weekends until 5am (you will hear them in your room)!
