This bustling Downtown district, built around the gorgeous Parque de las Palapas, is brimming with exciting craft stores and delectable taco stalls, and is the thrilling heart of Old Cancun. Shop 'til you drop at the Plaza Las Americas, or absorb the sumptuous local culture at the vibrant open-air Market 28. For an authentic Cancun night out, head to Yaxchilan Avenue, where the locals party into the early hours.
With the soft golden sand of the sprawling Hotel Zone beach between your toes and the soothing Caribbean Sea breeze in your hair, you'll get why Cancun is one of the world's great playgrounds. Dance the night away down Boulevard Kukulcan to everything from pulsating R&B to flamboyant local salsa, or snorkel in the breathtaking reefs out to sea. If you can drag yourself from the beach, that is.
A crisp, white enclave of tranquil coastline surrounded by rippling seas, Isla Mujeres is a relaxing tonic to the bustle of Cancun. The Underwater Sculpture Museum, where eerily detailed stone figures line the seabed, is a must for divers and art-lovers alike, while the impressive Mayan monuments at Punta Sur will delight history-buffs. And to experience the breathtaking local wildlife, take a dolphin tour off Playa Norte beach.
The idyllic beach neighborhood of Playa Mujeres, lined with all-inclusive resort hotels and surrounded by baby-blue seas, is a soothing paradise just 20 minutes from Downtown Cancun. Have fun on dry land with 18 holes at the sumptuous Greg Norman-designed Playa Mujeres Golf Course, which boasts some of the most pristine greens and incredible views in Mexico, or pop down to Lopez Portillo Avenue for the freshest local seafood.
This charming residential district is a relaxing retreat from the 24/7 buzz of Downtown Cancun. Delve deep into the rich history of Mexico at the El Meco Ruins, where Mayan stone pyramids still stand, and then catch a ferry over to Isla Mujeres island from the Puerto Juarez Pier. Had a great time. The hotel, room, surroundings were all excellent. The food was good, however, not excellent. The support staff was really courteous and always very willing to help. I especially would like to single out a bartender by the name of Louis by the pool. Not only with me, but with all others in line before me where I could additionally observe his behavior, he was so friendly and accommodating that he seemed to me to be a really excellent addition to your staff. Until next time, thanks.

This was a great place, but I felt it was a bit rundown for a Westin, and it's prices! We also wish we would have been informed of their all-inclusive option at check-in, rather than waiting for us to rack up our first bar tab. Great location to the airport, which is why we chose to stay there our last night.
"Pleased in Cancun"

If you are a Spring Break student looking to party this is not the best hotel for you. We went with our two high school teens and it was perfect and not too expensive. The restaurants were very good and there were lots of things to do right on the beach, like parasail, sail, jet ski, snorkel, etc. Lots of pool chairs and room on the beach. We walked up and down the beach and this hotel has the best beach front. Rooms were contemporary and well designed. Signed up using Hotels.com without ever having been to Cancun before and was very pleased with the hotel and location.

Hotel has friendly and accommodating staff. Very well-maintained property. Great beach and pool areas with plenty of lounges and palapas. Dining options are a bit limited but there are lots of restaurants within few minute's walk of hotel. Some reviews have mentioned AC noise and late-night club noise. Depends on which way your room faces. I would suggest being prepared with earplugs and/or sleeping pills. Paying a little extra for the Regency Club rooms is definitely worth it.Mark
"Solo trip, beautiful and comfortable."

This room was glorious. I loved everything about it, but next time I'm bringing my own linens. I guess I'm just sensitive to certain laundry products and the feel of fabrics. If you're not particular, they're just fine. Overall, I wish I had stayed here my entire trip. I am very eager to come to this hotel next time I'm in the Yucatan. Everything was so convenient, including any kind of shopping you would desire.
"Beautiful hotel charming service"

We loved the all inclusive service, with the ability not to think about the price of individual meals. The beach is exquisite. The hotel's restaurants are all fantastic. The service was terrific. The only weakness is that the par 3 golf course is not great - very close to road. If you want to play, bring your own clubs. The rental clubs are abysmal and the hotel overcharges for the rent.
