"cheapest on the hotel strip"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 16, 2013
The staff were great. the restaurant was very good. It's very close to the city. we used this hotel as a jumping off point for a trip further south , rather than staying in Cancun, so we were not looking for the high end all inclusive. There is no beach to speak of here, If you're looking for beach time, you need to move further down the beach, and pay a lot more.
"Nice, clean and comfortable!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Aug 28, 2012
Although this hotel was a little far away from the main restaurants and shops in Playa del Carmen, it's still within walking distance (about a mile). The place is behind a locked gate, which you have a key to, for added safety. There is a nice courtyard. The bed was comfy and the kitchen suite was nice- dishes are included, as is a mini fridge and burners. The hotel staff doesn't speak much English, but a sign in the room said that they could get you in touch with the owner if needed. She does speak English. I think they have laundry services too. Nice place. It's definitely worth brig farther away because this place is much cheaper!
