This is a lovely riad with one or two drawbacks. The water from the shower drained very slowly so you had to stand in two inches of it. When you arrive if it's evening you have no idea how to get out of the alleys where it is located to the main square, which is actually only a short walk away, but you can't take a taxi because the alleys are too narrow. So you might not be able to go for a walk until the next day when you can find your way around. The food is excellent but it seems that they don't really want guests to eat there because the prices are so high. We ate there the first night and there was one set meal with no price advertised. Afterwards I asked how much it was and found out it was 25 euros per person, which is about four times as much as food anywhere else in Marrakech. It was a nice meal but I wouldn't want to pay that price for that meal in Europe, let alone in Africa. The staff were very helpful though and an Expedia rep provided information about excursions and met us at the hotel on our first morning so that we could quickly make plans. I would stay there again, but not eat there at that price.
"Gorgeous hotel!... flawed but excellent overall"

Those driving: PLEASE BEWARE OF DRIVING DIRECTIONS!-- please be sure to get GPS latitude/longitude before you leave home. The map on the website is terrible and you will not find the location in the dark with this map. Its a bit secluded and off the main road a bit (which is great, but it makes it hard to find). The hotel could use a bit of updating & a few repairs, but the amazing grounds, relaxing atmosphere (in the middle of a crazy city), fantastic staff, and a management willing to make up for problems, make the overall experience a highly recommendable one.

Although a bit tricky to find (even with GPS on the phone) we really liked Riad Hannah once we got inside. An intimate place, it had nice staff who even let us take breakfast with us as we had an early bus out to Essaouira. Room and beds were nice, location right in the medina. Would stay here again.

I was a woman alone and felt safe and well looked after in this Riad. The owner is fluent in French. English and Spanish besides Arabic. Very helpfull with suggestions about where to go and main cultural attractions. Breakfast was plentiful and good. A very good value for the price.

the hotel is in very good condition and the service is some what good except when we had an issue with the TV which kept acting up and the service arrived after one hour of my call. Also don't expect to have an iron to iron your t-shirt because I had the impression that the hotel is trying to make money of everything, they charge me for coffee or tea in the room that I found free in every hotel I went to, in Kenzi it's not and it cost me around 3 dollars. Also the bathroom is nice but you can not take a shower standing because it has a faulty design where you have to hold the thing where the water comes from with your hand to shower. And the water comes trickling, no power.
Overall the service was ok, the stuff are very nice and the room was roomy but I was expecting 5 stars hotel. To me it was a 4 stars
