This is a lovely riad with one or two drawbacks. The water from the shower drained very slowly so you had to stand in two inches of it. When you arrive if it's evening you have no idea how to get out of the alleys where it is located to the main square, which is actually only a short walk away, but you can't take a taxi because the alleys are too narrow. So you might not be able to go for a walk until the next day when you can find your way around. The food is excellent but it seems that they don't really want guests to eat there because the prices are so high. We ate there the first night and there was one set meal with no price advertised. Afterwards I asked how much it was and found out it was 25 euros per person, which is about four times as much as food anywhere else in Marrakech. It was a nice meal but I wouldn't want to pay that price for that meal in Europe, let alone in Africa. The staff were very helpful though and an Expedia rep provided information about excursions and met us at the hotel on our first morning so that we could quickly make plans. I would stay there again, but not eat there at that price.
"Close to Medina, but in resort area"

30years old male, came here to sitesee with a friend. The location is great because cabs know where the hotel is. You're walking distance to the medina and a short cab from the new medina. It's a "resort" but it's more practical than luxurious, so I'd look elsewhere for a romantic stay. The room was clean although the suite was more of a double bed and a pullout single bed and a couch that could turn into a bed - would have preferred just two single beds.

This hotel had a beautiful swimming pool. It was on a major road into Marrakech and was a good location for driving to all of the sights. The breakfast that was included was delicious. The map was not clear enough for us to drive to the hotel without assistance.
"Great stay, would return"

Hotel Meryem popped up on the Hotels mobile app and it looked like it was in a good location with a great price. I was pretty astounded at everything included in the grounds, including all-night reception, swimming pool, and huge breakfast buffet included, all in addition to a fantastic and comfortable room. Although I only booked one night here, the following night I also needed a place to stay and decided to return even though a slightly cheaper place came up in my results. Would definitely stay here yet again.

Although a bit tricky to find (even with GPS on the phone) we really liked Riad Hannah once we got inside. An intimate place, it had nice staff who even let us take breakfast with us as we had an early bus out to Essaouira. Room and beds were nice, location right in the medina. Would stay here again.
"Perfect hotel in a great location"

Absolutely loved this hotel! In fact, it probably made my trip 10 times better. It's very clean, comfortable, and elegant. There are probably only like 10 rooms in this hotel so that made it extra nice since it was quite and peaceful. It doesnt look like much from the outside but once you walk in through the main door, there is a beautiful pool / courtyard in the middle of the building and it safe and secure and you dont hear the bustle of the streets. It made coming back to the hotel each afternoon when it's super hot outside very pleasant and we were able to take naps in peace. Also, a nice hot morrocan breakfast was provided each morning on the roof top terrace. Good food in a nice setting. To conclude, if i ever go back to Marrakech, i wouldnt stay anywhere else but here. It was in the old city and only a 5-10 min walk through the souks to get to the main square. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel!
