"Great Location for Basic Hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 29, 2013
The location was excellent and clean. Very basic, typical hard beds and a bit cold when we were there (there was A/C but not heat--at least not that we could figure out). Also provided toothbrushes, which was nice. We opted to have breakfast at one of the casinos across the road. It was steps away from the old town center and near bus corridors without being noisy. Staff was helpful, spoke some English and offered to store our luggage the last day.
"A bit far away"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 10, 2013
Pretty happy with this hotel except for the location. Although it is quiet...it's at least a 10 minute walk to the heart of Macau.

nice but tiny tiny rooms. the door hits the bed as you open it. I was only staying one night so it worked out fine. it was great to watch tv in bed. it has the bare minimum. all amendmities are outside in a vending machine. I would stay agian if i were trying to save some money and needed to be on the island side.

"First time in Macau"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jun 11, 2012
The hotel made us feel very welcome, as if we were family coming for a visit. It was close to local sights with accessibilty provided to outlying shopping and casinos. Service was first class A wonderful experience!

"Holiday Inn Macau"Reviewed by Jerry W. of "Los Angeles, CA" on Nov 30, 2011
The hotel was pretty good, reasonable price and walking distance to some of the major casinos. It was a bit difficult to get a cab outside of the hotel, it's best to walk to a nearby casino to get a cab. Seems to be an issue in Macau generally, it was difficult to get a cab away from casinos. However, all the taxi drivers we had knew how to get to the hotel by name only, so it was never a problem getting back there.
