Saint Lucia Hotels

Swing gently in your hammock - cradling a rum-cocktail filled coconut - before drifting into a blissful sleep, lulled by the hypnotic soundtrack of soft ocean waves rolling in. Saint Lucia is the kind of place you daydream about when stuck in work - combining the heights of luxury, with sparkling white beaches, thick tangles of sprawling rainforest, and majestic columns of plunging water. The dreamy scenery is stunningly complemented by the island's opulent hotels, which have perfected the art of delivering magical honeymoons and extraordinary, once-in-a-lifetime vacations.

Things to see

Saint Lucia's jewel-colored, fish filled seas - and its secluded boomerangs of sugary white sand - are guarded by the imposing, World Heritage Site-listed, Piton Mountains. If you're up for a challenge, a local guide will help you to safely hike to the top of the largest of the pair of cone-shaped volcanic plugs, taking in wide panoramic views as you rise. There's nothing quite like rewarding yourself with a well-earned bottle of the local Piton beer, having conquered Gros Piton's steep ascent. Give your eyes an extra reward by visiting Diamond Botanical Gardens, where the red bells of exotic flowers - and shimmering rainbows, created by sunlight bouncing off spray from the crashing Diamond Falls - provides a visual treat. Afterwards, make your way to Anse Mamin, which is one of the island's most secluded beaches. Lay out your towel and indulge your desert island fantasies, relaxing in the bronzing sun, with nothing more than palm trees - swaying in the gentle breeze - for company.
