"Lovely room, difficult area"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 25, 2013
It's a bit difficult to say whether this new hotel is worthwhile. Certainly the room itself is huge and super comfortable, and the in-room hot tub is spectacular and unique, definitely making this room one of the best rooms we've ever stayed in. But otherwise, it's stuck on a hillside far from anything, including transportation, up a big hill. So you clearly need to go somewhere else to have fun. Fortunately a lot of Seoul's most famous areas are close by, and then you can taxi back to your extremely quiet room.
"Gangnam Style!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 25, 2013
Staff could not be more accommodating. Due to a mix up on my end with reservation, staff was very accommodating and helped immensely. They were extremely helpful. Room was nice, nothing special but clean with nice amenities. Could use free toothbrush/comb as part of bath supplies. Restaurant was very nice. Business center, extremely helpful. Staff were fluent in English and very knowledgeable about things to do in Seoul.

"Cute boutique hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 7, 2013
Upon arrival at night, we thought the area looked borderline dangerous and a little sketchy, but by daytime we realized we may have misjudged. The area we stayed in (Itaewon) has a lot of restaurants and bars to offer, of all different kinds of cuisine. The staff was friendly, not really memorable. There were some rug stains in the room, it looked modern but worn. The beds were comfortable. Tiny rooms and dark creepy hallways. Overall, for the price it was a nice stay.
