"Nice Hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 11, 2013
Typical Japanese hotel, bed size was nice. the room was a little smal by N.A. standards but large for Japan. view was nice. Breakfast was good but would suggest that they change up the menu each day.
"Great Location Near Yokohama Sation"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 29, 2013
Although the rooms are a bit dated, it's clean and comfortable. The Internet was great, there are a host of restaurants and bars nearby, and the hotel is minutes by foot away from Yokohama Station.

Room was fine, as i already know will be small. No heater, but hotel provide humidifier which can also work as heater at 2nd floor which can be borrow for free. At 2nd floor they also have coin washing machine. And at every floor there are scales in font the lift. No wi-fi is a minus. Overall a nice place to stay. Will definitely stay there again if I visit Yokohama.

"Large room and great service"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 18, 2012
My husband and I stayed at Hotel Monterey Yokohama on two occasions on the same trip, once for four nights and once for one night. We had a City View Twin corner room on the 11th and 12th floor. The room was very spacious, with two semi-double beds, two chairs, and one small table. You can adjust the temp in the room (both AC and heat). The bathroom was all tile with a full size bathtub and long vanity. Compared to bathrooms we had at other hotels in Japan, this bathroom is a dream. The beds here are softer than other beds we had in Japan, so it felt more comfortable for us. There is a small refrigerator and in-room safe. The room is very clean except for some light staining on the chairs. The front desk is very helpful and they speak English very well. The hotel is a very short walk from the subway, but it isn't in a central location so anytime you want to go anywhere, you have to take the subway to Yokohama train station. It would be nice to have WiFi access in the hotel itself, but we made do with the McDonald's down the street. It's a beautiful location next to Yamashita Park and a really enjoyable stay. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
"Very Hospitable"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 15, 2012
The staff were wonderful though very challenged in English if you are used to the expectation of a multi-lingual concierge service. I stayed for four nights and they were very good to me as I sat in the lobby for sometimes long hours while using the wifi. It is a paid wifi service.

"good value"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jun 25, 2012
compared to other hotels in the area, this was one of the cheaper ones, and yet I was very pleased with the establishment and with the service. courteous staff and everything was clean and nice. Interestingly, it's right in Chinatown, which is neat. Nearest subway station is only a few minutes walk. I would recommend it.
"Pretty good"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 12, 2012
The room is small, but thats known. Other than that, everything was great for the 5 nights I stayed. The staff at the front desk mostly couldn't speak English except a few but it was always ok and they were very helpful.
