All of the staff was very friendly and pleasant. Convienent Hotel shuttle bus to and from Meguro Station. Well this was my second time to stay here and I would stay here again the next time i'm in Tokyo”
The room was very comfortable located across the street from the Shinagawa train station. The beds were comfortable and bathroom was great. Internet service was extremely slow which was the only down fall. The hotel staff were great and spoken English and were very happy when I spoke Japanese to them. Most of me dealings with the staff was conducted in Japanese. My next trip to Japan will involve the Hotel Pacific.”
This was a great hotel for my stay in tokyo, as you can see my ratings everythign was a well deserved 5.0. The hotel service was much better than I expected. I was made to wait for 4-5 minutes while my reservation was being pulled up. Just for that short wait, I was upgraded to a much better room. The hotel was very clean and the staff was extra polite. Excellent customer service. Would highly recommend to stay here.”
We've stayed in this hotel three times over two trips to Japan, and for good reasons! The hotel is centrally located in the middle of Tokyo and close to three metro lines meaning it's convenient to get anywhere in Tokyo. Also nearby are convenience stores, meaning a cheaper alternative to room service or the mini bar, and there are also plenty of restaurants in the area. It's not a new hotel and could probably use a refurbish, but despite being a bit dated, the rooms are clean and quite spacious. If you visit in winter, the airconditioning is switched to heating mode only which can make the room temperature a little uncomfortable if you prefer a cooler temperature (remember that you can't open the windows to get fresh air). On two of the three times we stayed there, we had internet access in the room, but on the last we did not. Instead, we had to take our computer down to the business centre and compete with other guests for the one available internet connection. A note for those visiting Japan during cherry blossom season: this hotel is very close (within 10 minutes walk) to several gardens including the Imperial Palace East Gardens, making it ideal if your priority is to see cherry blossoms. The service is generally of a high standard. Overall, given the comparatively low price of the rooms and the central location of the hotel this is a great base for a sightseeing holiday around Tokyo.”
I enjoyed staying at this hotel. The location is great, it is very near Ginza, stations etc. with a very nice walking distance. The bed is very good and I like the two pillows provided without having to ask for an extra pillow. I will go back and stay there again next time.”
Great location, decent room for the price. One complaint, they put me in the back side of the hotel at the very end of the hall (which is a Very long hallway). The window did not open and it made me feel a bit claustrophobic like I was in the back of a long cave. I don't know if this is typical of the hotel.com block of rooms for this hotel. I would recommend getting a room on the street side as the windows open there.”
Good value as the rooms are good size and the location is good for exploring Tokyo. Ageing but well maintained property. More of a business hotel than a touristy one. Lots of food places nearby, but need to go farther to find good shopping.”
Very nice rooms, outstanding service right from the front desk to the bell man!”
The hotel is connected to one of the train lines, a 3 minute walk from 3 subway lines and a 6 minute walk to another handful of subway lines + train lines. Food, convience stores and pharmacies all located within a couple minute walk. It is located beside Kabuki-cho - which is an adult area so be forewarned. but the restaurants and shops in kabuki cho are lively -- there are people always around. staff was very frienly and courtious. only complaint was an odour coming from the bathrooms in both the rooms we had - kind of a standing water smell. didn't bother me much, but did my girlfriend and sister. otherwise - good hotel in a great location.”
