"True Japanese hospitality"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 11, 2013
If you want global luxury, opt for the Conrad, Peninsula, or Grand Hyatt. If you want truly unique Japanese luxury at it's finest, you can't beat the Imperial Hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and supportive without being overbearing. It's the subtle things that matter. The staff at the Imperial Hotel clearly showed they understood this. The room was perfect. The food superb. The pool, bath, sauna, and fitness facilities were all excellent. I used them several times. We had our two kids with us but they supported us all. Thankfully we never got the sense that "kids don't belong here."
"Best hotel in Tokyo!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 8, 2013
We stayed in a few places in Tokyo and this was by far the best. Overall luxurious experience. Roppongi is a great area and very central. We stayed in Ginza and Shinjuku in the same trip and we thought Roppongi was actually the best of the three places especially if you plan on going out at night. This hotel will not disappoint! All the restaurants are fantastic and the breakfast that comes with your stay is a delicious buffet.
"Wonderful stay!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Dec 24, 2012
We had high expectations for our stay and the hotel definitely exceeded them! Every person we came across spoke English and they were all so very helpful with directions. We didn't know that there was a bus running from the hotel to the Hamamatsucho station but we found out before our stay and it was very helpful and convenient. The room was clean, modern and nice and our request for a third bed was totally taken into account. We will absolutely stay again next time we go to Tokyo.
"Excellent Choice in Tokyo"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Dec 3, 2012
Great hotel, a bit busy in the lobby most evenings, and because smoking is allowed in the lobby it can have a Las Vegas feel. The rooms are extremely comfortable, and the service is first rate. Great for business. Location next to Tokyo Midtown (which includes a Starbucks) is also a plus.

I loved the breakfast that was included every morning. Free alcohol in the fridge was quite a surprise. Beautiful place to stay. Highly recommend it..
