"Classy hotel, good location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 12, 2013
Modern- and tastefully-decorated hotel and room. Very clean, and staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Window does not open. Faces busy street, but window is triple-paned, so it was surprisingly quiet. I had the "Relax" room, which was slightly bigger and had a king bed - both of which are rarities in Tokyo. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable, though. Why can't hotels invest in a pillow top mattress? Bathroom was fine. Free wifi in rooms! 12 minute walk from Shinjuku 2-chome. Yotsuya-sanchome subway is a 1 minute walk away, which was extremely convenient.

"Safe Area"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 4, 2013
The location of the hotel is ideal for commuters. It is easy to access from the Yamanote line and many restaurants. The surrounding neighborhood is very safe. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. I was able to communicate effectively with the staff even though I did not speak Japanese. I would stay here again.
"Good location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 31, 2013
The hotel is clean and has great service. It is centrally located to a lot of Tokyo points of interest. The only complaint its internet is wired in the rooms. So, I had to get a eithernet adapter to connect to my thin laptop.
"Perfect first night in Japan"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 8, 2013
The hotel is the perfect place to stay when you first arrive in Japan. It is close to the fish market and so getting up early and walking 10 minutes to the market is a great intro to Japan. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast buffet was delicious.
"Proximity to everything"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 5, 2013

"Very accommodating hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Dec 31, 2012
The people at the Shibuya Tobu Hotel were extremely accommodating to us. They even allowed up to check in an hour early when we showed up completely exhausted from our flight. The room, as small as they are, had everything we needed and was comfortable. At checkout, they held our luggage for a couple hours while we had lunch prior to leaving to catch our flight home. The hotel is in the middle of a very bustling area for young adults. There were great restaurants and shopping locations, all within a short walk.
