"Nice convenient Hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 28, 2013
Very nice hotel. Conveniently located near JR, subway, and bus stations. The staff were very polite and helpful. They went out of their way to help me out. The room was very small, the smallest I have ever stayed in. However, it had all basic things found in a hotel room. The neighborhood is excellent, safe, and full of restaurants and shops.

"Clean and convenient"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Dec 17, 2012
The hotel is less than a block from the Sakaemachi station. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping within easy walking distance. The room was clean and no smaller than a typical hotel in Japan. Staff were friendly and spoke English.

"Great location, very small room"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Dec 3, 2012
Hotel was in a great location, very short walk to Nagoya station. The rooms are very small so pack light. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
"spacious rooms"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 24, 2012
Everything was great except our air conditioner didn't quite have enough oomph.
"Convenient to train"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 22, 2012
It was right outside the shinkansen entrance to the train, but we didn't notice any noise from our room. The room was clean and up-to-date. The breakfast buffet is quite extensive with both western and Japanese items.
"worthwhile for money and close to train station"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 18, 2012
the hotel was very convenient for a Nagoya location - just a few blocks from Fushimi station, which is one stop away from Nagoya station. We were exploring other cities by rail from Nagoya as a base, so this worked out well. The room was fairly spacious by Japanese standards, always neat and clean. The hotel allows smoking in the front lobby and breakfast area, so that was always annoying to be around. Thankfully we'd just rush to the elevator and all was well. The room and hotel were quiet, so we were able to sleep easily. There are a couple cute cafes and wine bars on that same street, so it's possible to wind up the day with a drink near the hotel. I'd stay there again if Nagoya were a home base.
