  Hotel not close to airport but it was absolutely beautiful. Perfect getaway. Didn't need to lift a finger the staff always helpful and pleasant. You can do as much or as little as you want. The grounds are beautifully maintained. I saw a host of beautiful birds including the islands national bird. Great family beach resort. Though very pricey.

  We started our stay at thr Ritz in MoBay. The Beachcomber is certainly not the Ritz. However, that is a good thing. The Ritz is nice, but it could be at ant beach. If you want the real flavor of Jamaica the Beachcomber is a classic "beach" hotel. The hotel could be updated and they are making an effort to do so. There is no better location. The owner Pat is great as well as the staff. If you love the beach it is the place to go.

  This is a nice hotel,at a quiet location, but 20 minute shuttle ride to nearest beach, an inconvenience, drop off at 10 am and pick up at 4p. The decore of the rooms are not quite as enticing as the pictures appear. Also no hot water at any point. Service was great, can't say enough about it, everyone was very accomidating. The grounds were clean and prestine.
