The stay was short but very comfortable. The staff very friendly and helpful. The offerings in the main dining could do with wider choices at times but the quick efficiency of the staff made up for that. They were willing to serve. Check in was a little slow but you were served cold refreshing fruit juices while you wait. Overall very good stay. The jerk chicken was gooood!!!

I am originally from the island of Jamaica. I have not been back since I left in 1988. This visit was me reconnecting with my roots. Emerald View was the best place for me to do this. The people their treated me as family and it was a great visit. As I told my friends and family here, I am ready to go back now. Loved the free-ness of Emerald View, meaning if you wanted to walk down the street(store) you could. Also if you needed a ride to places Emerald provided transportation. Thank you to my Emerald View Family. Keep representing Jamaica's beauty.

I would stay there again if spending less then a week in MBJ. No need to pay more for ocean view room, the hotel has two great balconies that gives you the view for free. Not a place for a quiet vacation because of the location.
