The roads and drivers are not very understanding of Americans. I was sworn and beeped at more in the three days here than in my entire 52 years of life. Hotel staff was extremely helpful and spoke English enough to understand. Views and beach were wonderful. I was disappointed with all the trash people threw everywhere. We had to clean a space off on the beach each day from all the litter. There was trash and oil floating in the beautiful waters up and down the entire beach area. Bar staff was very irritated when we asked for ice for our cooler. The front desk said it would be no problem, but the bar staff made us wait, rolled their eyes and looked disgusted at us. They also got mad and would not let us bring some sandwiches to the pool area that we got at this local market with amazing food! Both our rooms had a great view and the AC was fairly good. Breakfast was very good. Staff there was excellent. I would recommend this to others.

The room was very nice, comfortable bed, nice view of the ocean from the room balcony, convenient parking in the hotel basement, convenient wireless internet from the comfortable hotel lobby. Their breakfastys were fine with cerials, coffee, juices, breads cold cuts, hard boiled eggs and fruits. Everything was fresh and tasty. Being close to Amalfi was nice but being away from all the parking difficulties and conjestion was better. Fine local restuyrants within walking distance. 2 english language channels was nice as I don't understand Italian. The hotel personel spoke English quite well.
