Nice hotel, a little outside sorrento but it does say its in Santagnello so cant complain. Santagnello and Sorrento are connected so dont worry about this not being in Sorrento. If arriving by train get off at SANTAGNELLO walk to the main road and turn right - it cant be any more than 5 minutes walk. We went to Sorrento train station on arriving, unforunalty we got a taxi from sorrento station which cost ?17 - Rip off We walked into Sorrento daily and its about 30 minutes along a busy main road (drivers are mental in italy). There is a bus service from the hotel to Sorrento thats free. The hotel itself is nice, breakfast is great if you like bacon rolls like me but they have a wide sellection the should suite everyone. The rooms were cleaned daily and the staff are friendly with a nice pool and outside bar area. There is a resteraunt downsatairs which in the evening requiers trousers for men + has some rather bizzare decoration (lime green and 1980's? anyone) but the staff are again great. If you want to sit by the pool this is a lovely place to be and get the bus in and back from Sorrento at night. If you dont mind a 20 minute walk to the centre of Sorrento this is a good buy as its a good quality of hotel (air condtioned). If you want to travel arround the area the local train is great from SANTAGNELLO or Sorrento.
