Situated closer to Casamicciola than Lacco Ameno, the Antares provided a very warm welcome. All of the staff were very friendly, with the receptionist taking time out to show me a shortcut to the beach across the road and offering to provide restaurant menus in English (Ischia being very popular with German tourists most are written in Italian and German). The usual shortfalls of booking a single room were evident (inferior location/ view of the next building etc) but did not greatly detract from a pleasant stay.” 30/05/2008
