Fantastic hotel/appartement at a remarkable place. Extraordinary view from the kitchen. Just in the center. Very good value for money.
"Great place to stay - away from the big cities"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Aug 31, 2012
Fine place to stay. We enjoyed our 3 day stay. Breakfast was abundant and varied. Service was great.
"Paradise in Tuscany!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jul 5, 2012
We loved this hotel!!! We recommend it without hesitation. Is is like a TuscanVilla which has been converted to a hotel. The pool looked beautiful, but we didn't have time to use it. Perfect location between Florence and Siena. We had a lovely large room which overlooked the town. Air- conditioning was AWESOME as it was high 90's every day we were there. Our 3 children (23, 21, 17) were in a triple room overlooking the country-side. So charming and spacious...they had a living room, a single room and a double room which shared a bathroom. The dinner we had on the back terrace was outstanding. Food was freshly prepared and wonderful, definitely worth eating there! it was convenient to the town, a short ride away. You have to pay to park outside the entrance to the town, but we always found a spot there. (Shopping within the ancient city walls was amazing.) The only negative point on our entire stay was that our balcony was only separated from the balcony next to us by a 1/2 wall that didn't give you any privacy if you were enjoying a glass of wine on the balcony, etc. The staff was super friendly and helpful. There is even olive oil and wine for sale on the premises...I really wish we had purchased some to take home. I have no doubt they would be excellent, as our entire stay here was. If you have a car, and can get here, definitely go!!!!
"Beautiful views of Tuscany, good locaton"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 19, 2012
We only stayed for one night. The room was clean and adequate. We ate dinner at the restaurant. The food was satisfactory, but not exceptional. The view from our room was amazing! The staff was attentive and very helpful. It was a short drive to the town of San Gimignano. I would recommend this hotel to others who are traveling through the region.

"Very friendly staff and immaculately clean room."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 3, 2012
Extremely clean, if not plain room. The family running the hotel are extraordinarily kind and helpful. Located just outside San Gimignano ( we're talking 5 minute walk to the town wall), so conveniently located while being able to park directly in front of the hotel (and parking is free). Only real negative is that the bed and pillow were the least comfortable of our trip. Not terrible, just not overly comfortable. Bed was your somewhat thin, basic spring bed and the pillows were pretty thin. Still, the price was right, so not a huge problem. The restaurant was quite good, too!!!
