"Excellent Airport Hotel for a 1 Night Stay"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 21, 2012
This airport and Mediterranean Sea view Hotel is within easy walking distance from the GOA Airport baggage claim area. The only reason we had to use their complimentary shuttle service was because it was pouring rain when we arrived. This American style Hotel is very comfortable except there is nothing to do near the Hotel. However, they do provide a complimentary shuttle service to Downtown Genoa. Great location for a 1 night stay to catch the Costa Cruise shuttle bus from the Airport to Savona the next day.

I did love this hotel. Its proximity to the sea and the beach worked for us even though we were only there for one evening. It was a bit of a ride to the sites in Genoa but, although we needed to take a number of cab rides, each driver was very helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
"No Gym Required"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 3, 2012
This hotel is really very charming, more of a boutique than a hotel. It's built into the side of a steep hillside a block away from the main train station in Genoa and is NOT suitable for someone requiring accessible accommodations. The surrounding neighborhood is a maze of narrow streets and alleys with many different types of businesses and restaurants and seems to be where the immigrant community has settled. We felt safe everywhere we walked (and we walked a lot) but be prepared to meet the ladies of the night if you walk down the wrong street in the evening.
"Must stay here; convenient and helpful staff"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 27, 2012
Very good experience. Would definitely stay there again
"Hidden Waterfront"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 24, 2012
Two days - Aug/Sep 2012. Pleasant marina waterfront hotel if you can find it. Google Maps plots it at the Sheraton site in the midst of the airport, but you need to turn northwest by the Sheraton and then follow Via Pionieri... around to the west, along the waterfront, almost to the end of road, near the runway. The area feels commercial until you get to the hotel. Any airport traffic was not noticeable. Comfortable bed and linens. Roomy modern bath with dressing room. Good buffet breakfast. A few nearby bar/restaurants. Free parking, but don't expect to walk or use public transit to go anywhere. Our pleasant private balcony overlooking the boats was quite close to the boats and not so private when boat-owners were there, but with sweeping views across the marina and city-scape toward the hills. One maintenance issue -- the sliding doors to the balcony lacked an insulating strip where they come together. Our north-facing room was quite breezy in a rain storm with the doors closed. But any negatives are minor. We would highly recommend this hotel if being in town is not a priority.
"Great location, good leg work out"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 21, 2012
The apartment was very nice and even bigger than we expected. They even had a small 2nd bathroom which really came in handy. The room overlooked the Piazza San Lorenzo, so we had a beautiful view, but it's also a hangout for loud locals who obviously don't have to get up early for work in the morning. The hotel does have an elevator, but NOT for the section we were in up 3 flights! The staff was GREAT; they were very friendly, and the young man who checked us in even brought up our bags and showed us around the room.
"Perfect for a quick trip"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 4, 2012
Our room for two was small by American standards but perfect for us. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast also looked small, but had everything we wanted in amply quantity. We arrived after 10:30pm. We had to ring the bell and were buzzed in immediately. Reception is up a flight of stairs. The room was warm when we arrived, but cooled quickly when we turned on the AC. The side street where the hotel is located is so narrow our cab wouldn't take us to the door - but close enough. We walked to the Aquarium in the morning - it was very close. We would stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel as a stop off on our travels through France, Italy, Switzerland and Germany. The hotel was pleasant and clean and the staff were helpful. The room was large which is a bonus whilst on a bike as we have lots of luggage and bike clothes. The room was clean although we did have to pay for wifi. As we were only passing through, we can't comment on the surrounding area as we stayed only in the hotel and ate there. The food was nice if a bit expensive. Would recommend this hotel as a stop over but beyond that we can't comment.
