"Very Satisfied"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Dec 21, 2012
Just spent 15 nights at the Casali Papareschi Apartments and it was exactly what I wanted when I booked it.Quiet and away from the tourist part of Rome. There are plenty of stores, restaurants, cafes' along with a few markets, all within a couple of minutes of walking. We didn't take the bus but there is a stop a couple minutes away. Used the Metro and that was a slow walk of 30 minutes. The staff was always very helpful with any question/request/issue we had. If we go to Rome again, we would stay here again if available.
"modern & spacious room, away from town center"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 29, 2012
My husband and I stayed here for two nights during our trip to Rome and around Italy. We booked only a couple days in advance because we skipped a trip to Venice. I wasn't thrilled about the immediate neighborhood which seemed a little sketchy, but the train station was a 5 min walk, so it's easy to use public transit to get to the cool Trastevere neighborhood. New building, spacious room, nice bathroom, good wi-fi. The front desk girl helped us call & make dinner reservations (which are highly recommended for busy Fri/Sat nights). Great views from our balcony. However, there is a music venue directly across the river that plays quite loud and well into the night (3am) which was a little annoying. I missed seeing this comment from other reviewers since we booked in a hurry.
"Wonderful Apartment Really Close to Spanish Steps"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 12, 2012
Our stay at Apartment Aurora couldn't have been better. We were in Room 14. Two bedrooms (double bed in one, two twins in another). Full kitchen, very nice bathroom, roomy shower. Fully stocked kitchen with dishes, pots and pans, silverware, table with 4 chairs, flat screen TV, hot water pot. WiFi worked perfectly. The apartment is 3 floors up, there is a working elevator. The neighborhood is very nice, right next to a bunch of very nice hotels. I timed it, it takes 9 minutes to walk to the Spanish Steps--so convenient! Also about 8 minutes to the Barberini Metro stop. We went to the Supermercado (about 10 minutes away) and bought food for breakfasts and dinners and then ate lunch on the town. We only spoke to David, the owner on the phone, but the lady who came by to let us in and took our payment was very nice. Very little English, but she had the important information written down to show us. Seriously, this apartment is PERFECT for 2 adults and 2 kids. We will stay here every time we come to Rome. Also the beds are extremely comfortable, our kids said the same. I'm thrilled that we are able to write such a good review - it really was a perfect stay with not a thing wrong!
"Flaminio Village Bungalow Park"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 27, 2012
Weather was good and made walking around very pleasant. Convenient to Due Ponte Train station about a 10 minute walk from the Campground to the train station from which it is very convenient to the Metro to tour around Rome.

"Convenience location good for family"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 21, 2012
The apartment were nice and clean but if you stay more than 3 days you have to pay for your service cleaning. You can get good pizza at Pizza Rosticceria and local coffee shop on BORGO PIO R XIV street at local coffee shop you can get coffee for just 1 Euro. For a Rome pass cost 30 Euro you can get on bus and Metro for free but you should get map of bus and Metro from online ready before you go because they don't have one for you there. You can walk to hospital to get on the bus no: 116 it will take you to a lot of site that you want to go. If you travel more than 3 people you should book your pick up to hotel. The taxi very small. Over all good. I have a great time to stay here. Good place for family. You can cook you own food there. Just 5-10 minutes walk to Vatican.
"walked everywhere-very central"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Aug 13, 2012
After some confusion about which location it was (initially went to the main location but they paid for a taxi to take us to the Santi Spirito location) and an elevator that wasn't working, we made it up to the 3rd floor where our room was located. I was disappointed we weren't at the main location because of the night life and activity, but honestly, this place was in such a great location we couldn't complain. We were right by the river and walking distance to EVERYWHERE. We like to walk, but did not anticipate that in our three nights in Rome we would never have to get a taxi or board a bus. We simply walked everywhere and saw everything. I loved that the staff knew where to send us to eat and we had the best meals eating with the locals away from the touristy places. The room was nice and cool and we had everything we needed. I would definitely go back. It's nice to know they have apartments that accommodate larger families too.
