"Honeymooners explore Rome!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Dec 31, 2012
Niice, modern hotel. Rooms are small but the use of space is amazing. The roof top bar & pool/jacuzzi are a perfect escape of the busy streets of Rome. For none experianced travelers, the surronding neighborhood might seem dodgy but its actually safe. Its located right next to the main train station & the metro. Great loaction to experiance local Rome. Staff is ok. Might appear rude due to a language barrier. The management was amazing as they knew it was our honeymoion and upgraded our room and gave us a bottle of prosecco. Love the modern style of this hotel, will be back.

We were very impressed with the rooms because they were exactly as shown on their website. The hotel and room was very clean, staff friendly, and in a very good location. We took the bus (bus stop approximately 1/4 mile away) to the Vatican which was very convenient. If you want a formal lunch or dinner, there is a very nice restaurant in another hotel about 1 block away(please make reservations). The hotel has a continental breakfast but very minimal selection for dinner. I loved the outside pool, but unfortunately it was raining and a bit cool. The rate per night for this hotel was excellent. I would highly recommend it.
"property was a prioriy in the past."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 22, 2012
The staff were very helpful. The rooms are a little pricing for what you get but I was upgraded free of charge to a mini suite and was happy. Great fitness center on site and the property is out ofthecenter sow little quieter than being right in The center.

Weather was good and made walking around very pleasant. Convenient to Due Ponte Train station about a 10 minute walk from the Campground to the train station from which it is very convenient to the Metro to tour around Rome.

The room and hotel were nice. A 5 minute walk to the subway stop. Main subway line which is very convenient. Don't take the hotel shuttle service because it doesn't guarantee you a seat back and more importantly the times are not accurate and dependent on the bus driver so you want end up waiting 90 minutes for the bus because you missed the previous one becuase it came and left 10 minutes earlier then stated. Very frustrating.
"This place Rocks!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 15, 2012
This is a hostel not a Hilton. The value of Seven Hills is great. All the services you need are on site. Easy access to Rome. Perfect if you don't spend time in your room and focus on the sites of Italy.

"less than1 hour Far, inexpensive, Clean, no wifi."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jun 3, 2012
Camping Ok for families, Inexpensive, nice swiming pools, full of locals who are nice & ok, facilities are clean restaurant, bar, grocery store with reasonable prices. We had the one with kitchen 2bathrooms, 2 bedrooms , heater, air conditioning. One annoying thing for me was no wi fi in my staying área I have to walk to the recepción área to get wifi, and is not free(surcharge) . Staff are ok multilingual. you need at least 1 hour to get to Rome city center, walk 5 minutes to the bus stop (wait there for the bus about 15 or 20) get to the metro station in 15 minutes, then 20 minutes in metro to get to Rome. Is easy, cheap public transportación 11 dollars ticket por 3 days per person bus and metro (using the same ticket bus & metro) kids under 9 don't pay. Overall was ok for the price, next time I will try near central hotel.
"Colosseum view from the window"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Mar 21, 2012
There is so much to see and do in Rome, you don't spend much time in your hotel room. This hotel offered basic ammenities for a traveling tourist. The front desk service was great, the location is a 2-3 minute walk to the Colosseum, and a 10 minute walk to the Red line Metro (subway). However, the rooms did not offer a dead-bolt on the door, the ventilation/AC did not work, the internet WiFI was spotty, and the shower was very cramped for a 6' male. I didn't travel to Rome for the hotels--I went for the sights. The rate at this hotel worked with my budget, but I may look at other options next time I am fortunate enough to visit this city.
