  Lovely staff, fun old beautiful building, perfectly located within the city walls. The breakfast was ok... But...free parking is a stretch. The free parking is located a 7-10 minute walk away, difficult to find even with a city map.

  Hotel is right outside the city walls, a great value, clean, and the owner very friendly and helpful.

  This is a renovated palace. Very modern, elegant rooms. Wonderful breakfast buffet included. Can borrow bicylcles to explore the ancient walled city. Puccini museum. Towers and walls to climb. A memorable stay.

  Could not have picked a better place, in terms of quality and value (usually overworked words ); Claudia and the rest of the staff tend to your every desire. Every my friends and I re-entered the hotel we were greeted with a great smile. They deserve 6 stars !!!!

  Lovely location. The innkeeper spoke English and had many suggestions for sights to see. The hotel has it's own excursions and tours such as biking in wine country. There was a small mixup in our reservation and he upgraded us without our asking. Very pleased with the hotel, staff and service.

  I very much enjoyed my stay at the Napoleon Hotel. Although it is situated about 10 minutes outside the wall of Lucca it is easlity accessible by foot. The rooms were spare but clean and the staff people were very nice and helpful. I would recommend it .
