Very pleased with the hotel. It was clean, easy to find and the staff is super helpful and nice. It is near the main promenade in Viareggio which is an excellent place to take a walk. I stayed at the hotel 4 years ago, and it has had major renovations. It offers great value for the rate.

The hotel staff helped us carry our luggage up the front stairs. The staff were very friendly, the room was clean and the breakfast was very good. The hotel is in a very convenient location.

Good location with great views of the water. The rooftop terrace is a terrific hangout in the evenings for a drink and to see the sunset over the Mediterranean. Viareggio is a convenient place for relaxing at the beach or daytrips to more rustic parts of Tuscany.

This was the perfect hotel as far as convenience, price, friendliness and helpfulness of the hotel staff. The spa was ideal for relaxing sore muscles after traveling at length throughout Tuscany. The rooftop sunning area has an amazing view and from what we could see is one of the few hotels that has such a view. Hotel Astor offers a discount on the beach umbrella and chairs which can be purchased at Florinda on the beach.9
