"Clean and comfortable"

We stayed at the Hotel Ristorante La Terrazza for 2 days in a triple room. The concierge at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. The condition of the room was very good, with good decor. The room size though is quite small and felt a bit cramped despite being a triple room. The bathroom only had a shower but was fairly small. The view from our balcony onto the valley was amazing. Breakfast was limited but quite decent. The hotel is not in the centro storico of Assisi, but at a minimum 1 km away and if you do not have a car to get to one of the conveniently located parking areas outside the old city, it might be a stretch walking around (especially if travelling with kids).
"Great Location for the Basilica of St. Francis"

The room was clean and satisfactory. The bathtub/shower was small and confining. I was taking care not to fall as the warning stated. The room was not luxurious, but then I didn't come to Assisi to spend much time in the room. The staff very helpful and gracious. The breakfast was ample. The free parking lot is a good uphill distance for a senior, but would not be a problem for a younger person. That being said, I would definitely go back to this hotel again.
"Spacious room in the heart of Assisi"

We had room 50, which was very spacious with a separate sitting area plus a balcony overlooking the courtyard. The room was clean although the furnishings and decor were pretty modest. Excellent location right off a popular piazza and just a 10 minute walk to the Piazza Matteotti parking lot. A nice breakfast was included. We were there a day before the Pope's visit so there was alot of electricity in the air. Assisi is a gorgeous town, best enjoyed in the mornings and evenings. If you come here, don't just make it a day trip - be sure to spend the night, otherwise you are cheating yourself out of the real charms of the city.
