  good location. quiet enough and great restaurant on site. Good places to eat nearby. Good location for lake travel as well as in the center of the city

  not originally given garden/lake view as indicated on reservation and mgmt claims hotels.com overpromises this as few rooms actually have this. we asked nicely and they were able to relocate us from a rear room over the alley to a front terrace facing room on the 2nd night. The location is marvelous but be forewarned that the hotel has no business center and internet cafes are scarce, so bring your wi-fi ready laptop/ipad if you need access. Inconsistent a/c. very personable breakfast staff.
