Excellent hotel staff. Very helpful to point out on map nice restaurants and sites close to the hotel. Breakfast was good each morning and restaurant was very good...opens at 8:00 PM at night.

Very good hotel. Good location, clean room. Some fittings slightly dated. Staff were friend and helpful. My fiance and I stayed here in late-November, 2012. Since it was quiet, we were upgraded to a larger room for free.

I love Savhotel. This is the second time that I have stayed there, with this stay being purposeful, knowing that I would be taken care of based on my first stay. This time, even though I had to be at the airport by 5am and not being particularly close, I still opted to stay at Savhotel because I knew I would be taken care of. I was in the process of moving back to the United States after living in Italy for more than a year and was consequently traveling with 3+ bags and my wedding dress. They were very helpful and accomodating with my late arrival and early departure from their establishment and even helped me reserve a taxi for the morning and had a bagged breakfast ready for me. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting Bologna despite the location not being the most convenient.

For a hotel near the airport this hotel fit the bill. Close enough to make it there on surface streets with the way marked with clear signage. For those of you with a car there is a gas station right next door and free underground parking. The attached restaurant has surprisingly good food. Room is showing it's age, but that being said, I didn't really need alot since it was just a convenient place to stay prior to departure. Walls are thin and you will hear all sounds from your neighbors. TV basically had only BBC for English entertainment. Free wi-fi.

I took the four-person male shared room option. Although it's a shared 'dorm' or hostel it's much better than that in reality - very spacious and the beds weren't on top of one other like in most other hostels I've stayed in over the years (separate single beds on four corners of the room). The room was extremely spacious and the washroom was well-maintained (not perfectly of course (it also depends on how clean the other people staying at the time are), but the supplies like tissue papers and hot water etc. weren't lacking). I went with low expectations and even though this is a basic place I was to a very large extent comfortable. I don't know how far exactly it is from major places in town, but it seemed very close based on my experience with a friend picking me up in her car. Overall: I had a good stay, their standards seem to be maintained.

An excellent place with a very nice breakfast in the morning and with very friendly people. Only on T-days (weekends) in December one needs to walk a bit more because the busses are not going through the center.
