"Close to everything, good service"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 29, 2013
Very good hotel. Good location, clean room. Some fittings slightly dated. Staff were friend and helpful. My fiance and I stayed here in late-November, 2012. Since it was quiet, we were upgraded to a larger room for free.

An excellent place with a very nice breakfast in the morning and with very friendly people. Only on T-days (weekends) in December one needs to walk a bit more because the busses are not going through the center.

Hotel location and good rate
"Everything we needed"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 27, 2012
The desk service was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was older, and down a what looks to be a sketchy street, but it's really not. The rooms were minimalistic, but had everything we needed for our 2 day stay. We were very happy with the breakfast where lattes were flowing, so I was content. It was a 68 euro trip from the airport and close to where the college students hang out. There's a grocery store adjacent to the hotel which was great, and it was a short walk to the square.
"Right in the the hear of the city"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 20, 2012
The hotel is very conveniently located -- a 3 minute walk from the main city square; plus the shuttle from the airport has a stop just around the corner. Breakfasts were good, with fresh bread and croissants; savory options available although the choice was quite limited; fresh fruit salad was also available. Our room was very spacious and clean, however the room service was quite disappointing (hair shampoo and shower gel not provided, and the other toiletries not restocked after first night). The bed was comfortable, however the outside noise was quite loud so could not sleep with an opened window. Great hotel for the price.
"Great little hotel in Bologna"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 6, 2012
My stay was very short--just long enough to hop a plane home, but the location was great--a quiet little street just a block off a big, loud, pedestrian avenue that leads right to the main square (about 4 blocks). Very good location, nice room, helpful staff, small hotel--just what you hope to find for three stars.
"Great for early morning flights..."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jul 30, 2012
The Hotel Del Borgo is a decent, fairly clean, very cheap, no-frills hotel with a very convenient location to the Bologna airport. Probably wouldn't be much fun to spend a week in, but if you have an early morning flight it's very easy to get to the airport.
"Exellent location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jul 6, 2012
It is a nice small hotel with kind hotel staff and situated on the great spotr in the city.
"Great choice"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 15, 2012
We very much enjoyed our three night stay at this hotel. It was well located, clean, with friendly helpful staff. The breakfasts were more on the "Continental" side but more than adequate. The rooms were very quiet and fairly spacious. Other than falling prey to the Italian propensity for towels made of thinner material than Americans use, I have nothing to say but good things to say.
"Great little hotel in the middle of all action"Reviewed by Sylvia K of "San Francisco" on Apr 2, 2012
Nice simple hotel in the middle of the university area, also known as the area within the doors of Bologna. You can walk to the main area in 3 minutes, nestled in the middle of everything. Only hotel during our stay in Italy that announced WIFI in the hotel rooms and actually delivered. Very nice staff as well.
