"great place to stay after landing in keflavik"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jul 31, 2012
The owner was very kind to us- we arrived past midnight at Keflavik and drove to Reykyavik- we were lost about 2 blocks from the guesthouse. He answered the phone at 1:30 AM and was kind, polite and helpful and got us to the guesthouse, and then came to check us in at 2 AM, and had breakfast ready at 7 AM. Very polite man- we thank you.
"Perfect "Iceland on a budget" hotel"Reviewed by Kat M. of "Brooklyn, NY" on Sep 7, 2011
I feel very confident recommending this hotel because of the price. It was SO cheap and the location was great. It's a little weird that there is no front desk, so checking in and out was a little confusing. Also, on the site it says there are hair dryers in the room. The actually do not have them in the room, but I asked the owner and he found one for me to borrow. The rooms have a mini kitchenette area with a fridge, microwave and a few things like bottle openers and what not. Also, the hotel is directly over a super market. I will stay at AdaM hotel the next time I travel to Iceland. You can't beat the price.
