"Close to Harbor"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 27, 2012
The personnel at the Hotel Cabin were very helpful. They always went out of their way to help when I had a question, even suggesting a good place to have dinner within walking distance. I would stay there again next time I visit Reykjavik and would recommend this hotel to friends who visit as well.

Iceland is a must see place for all ages! The people in Reykjavik are friendly and welcoming. The people at the hotel we very helpful, they would make sure to give you the best information regarding things to do and restaurants in the area! The hotel had several restaurants and shops that were within a short walking distance. Thanks for making our stay so pleasant!
"Perfect "Iceland on a budget" hotel"Reviewed by Kat M. of "Brooklyn, NY" on Sep 7, 2011
I feel very confident recommending this hotel because of the price. It was SO cheap and the location was great. It's a little weird that there is no front desk, so checking in and out was a little confusing. Also, on the site it says there are hair dryers in the room. The actually do not have them in the room, but I asked the owner and he found one for me to borrow. The rooms have a mini kitchenette area with a fridge, microwave and a few things like bottle openers and what not. Also, the hotel is directly over a super market. I will stay at AdaM hotel the next time I travel to Iceland. You can't beat the price.
"Friendly staff"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Aug 31, 2011
The hotel had everything we needed, was well cared for, and the lobby staff were wonderful both at check-in and when I needed help with airline problems.
