Wonderful classic hotel. This may or may not be the best hotel in Dublin, but to my mind it is the hotel to stay in ! The staff are even polishing the brass hand rails for the main steps at 7am in the morning.

This hotel is located within walking distance to an abundance of shopping, entertainment, restaurants and must-see sights. The room was clean and comfortable.

The hotel staff were amazing and courteous. Nothing was a trouble- I had a very early departure and was offered and brought tea service to the room without hesitation in the wee hours. The hotel is very clean and its location was perfect for my needs. The food in the restaurant was great. Consider it a home away from home but with service! For American travellers- this is like an upscale B&B as the hotel is furnished in a Georgian home.
"nice but no lift"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 6, 2013
The hotel was really clean and close to st stephens green, which is pretty much close to the major dublin sights! the room was nice small but it had more than all the basics! the only problem was to carry our luggage to the top floor with no lift! bus stop to the airport is in front of the hotel and tram station is only a few minutes away!
"close to sights, friendly staff"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 31, 2013
Everyone had a great time! The only complaint I could have is that the rooms are a tad small, but that is definitely mostly because we had 5 people instead of the 4 we originally booked for. The staff is super friendly, there are some good pubs nearby, and you can walk to a good few attractions. The hop-on/hop-off bus tour also stops nearby the hotel.
