"Great bargain with lots of charm and comfort"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 1, 2012
I was visiting Cork on a budget, and had to find the cheapest place I could. Windsor Inn exceeded my expectations. The location is great for access to the city, the staff is first-rate. It's an inn over a pub, not a true B&B, but the pub serves great breakfasts and meals too. Live Irish folk music every night, what more could you want? The room - especially for the price - was comfortable and clean, better than some B&Bs I have stayed in. An old, old building (200+ years as an inn) but well-managed and well-maintained. You can't beat it for charm, convenience, and comfort. I will stay there again!
"Trip to Corcaigh"Reviewed by Scot S of "St. Louis, Mo" on Apr 7, 2012
We went to Cork for a brief trip. The City Link bus dropped us off across the street from the hotel. The hotel is located about a 5-10 minute walk down the street from the railroad station, so the location of the hotel on our way in and way out was very convenient. The room and bathroom were small, but we were sightseeing, so a good location with a clean, quiet room was all we wanted and that is exactly what we got. The Everyman Theater is less than a block down the street. One of the actors in the play that was playing there rode the lift with us to the lobby and toldu us about his play. We decided to go to the play and were out all day. We did not have time to eat dinner and most places were going to be closed by the time the play finished. The clerk at the reception desk took an order for us before we left for the play and dinner was served shortly after we returned to the hotel. A nice touch and the food was very good. The room was small, but so was the bill. We would stay here again and hope to return to Corcaigh some day.
"Hotel Isaac - Convenient Location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Mar 29, 2012
Comfortable but slightly dated. Nice quaint restaurant for drinks, dinner and breakfast. Easy walking to other restaurants, shops and Cork's night life.

This elegant charmer was wonderful at Christmastime. The service was great and the hotel bar was very festive. Rooms were clean and comfortable although our telephone was not working.

"My stay"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jul 24, 2011
It was a convenient hotel, but I didn't like it was not that close to Cork City. I would recommend it for the reasonable fees it has, but then again, not because of the location.

Older building, very small rooms, more expensive than the 4 star hotel in Tralee. Staff was excellent. Just needs to be updated and modernized.
"Exceeded my Expectations!"Reviewed by Jessica S. of "Los Angeles, CA" on Mar 25, 2011
The Best Western Montenotte hotel was quite lovely. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the decor was beautiful. Downsides would be that they don't have hair conditioner (I'm always bummed about that with hotels), and you have to pay for wireless. Also, I'd love to see some more vegan food options. Afterall, many travelers, especially Americans, are starting to switch to a vegan diet and need food abroad! That said, the hotel was great, and the walk up the road, while slightly strenuous, is peaceful and a good mild workout.
