"This is a gem"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 19, 2013
We originally booked for 3 nights but extended to 5. The hotel is located at the end of a lane, Gang II the entrance to the lane is beside Sukma 6 this is handy to know because the hotel is new and drivers had trouble locating it. At the end of the lane is a three storey hotel with two rooms per floor, the hotel is ony one year old and backs onto a river, there is a 100 foot drop to the river and the setting is mature palms, bamboo and massive fruit trees, the squirells were a joy to watch playing and feeding in the trees. The hotel is in a very quiet residential location but very close to Ubud, a short walk. Has a great small pool. Our room had single beds plenty of hanging space, large fridge and large bathroom. The list of facilities for this hotel is incorrect, there are no kitchens in the room, pillow top beds, in room coffee machine etc and the hotel is going to rectify the listings, so make sure you confirm with the hotel. There are mosquitoes so come prepared, the general stores sell repellent cheaper than in Australia.
"Nice pool, good service, perfect location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 2, 2013
Clean and beautiful hotel. Perfect location. But during the stay in around New year it might be too much for the staff. They forgot the towels and some details. They only have 10 hairdryers which was inconvenient for my girlfriend.
"Close to the beach (5 min walk), ask for renovated"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Dec 7, 2012
Good location, friendly staff. Good breakfast, nice pool. The renovated standard room is so much better compared to the not renovated cottage (deluxe room). Both AC, but the bathroom is much nice, brighter and more light! Matresses not so great - but that depends on your back ;)

"Good value for money"Reviewed by H Warren of "Australia" on Oct 25, 2009
Charming little complex with good value for money. Bathrooms needed a bit of a face lift, however they were still clean and tidy. Breakfast variety was poor, but still could not complain considering the price. Was a little further out, but still a comfortable walk. Here for a short stay, only 3 nights and would stay again short term
"a piece of paradise"Reviewed by norm&chris s of "wellesley" on Aug 30, 2009
we fell in love with this hotel and it's setting the moment we arrived. the room was large and well cooled. there were no televisions in the rooms, so guests tend to gather at the pool and/or common areas and visit with other guests from all over the world. the staff is gracious and the buffet breakfast is fine. a truly wonderful place to spend a few wonderful days in Ubud.
