  This is a remodeled hotel that used to be a palace during the Hapbsburgs. The remodel leaves a lot to be desired... They have taken all that is wonderful with the old place and converted it into a strange decor trying to simluate a budhist place... come on - budhists in Budapest??? Leave the old decor alone

  Loved the corner room we got. The king size bed was perfect and so was the closeness to the metro.

  This hotel provides top service and all at your fingertips. Good location, great breakfast,excellent service. Needs better in-room internet service.

  A wonderful place in classic european style. The thermal baths in the spa are great. This is the old hotel with wonderful inlaid wood furniture and large rooms. They charge for internet but the basic rate is low for the hotel so no problem. Just imagine a visit during the age of the grand tour and this hotel fits. They have a little trouble getting bills to the right room, but it works out. The island is wonderful-quiet in the middle of Budapest. Just get a bus pass and come and go as you please. We will be back with pleasure. Don't expect a modern luxury hotel with sleek contemporary styling-this is much beter for those with classic tastes.
