"Good Value for the money"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013
The location is good. It is next to the subway, train, street cars and bus stop. It is easy to get to the down town or the castle from there. One big compliant is that on Hotel.com and the hotel web site it advertises the pool area. I went there for the first time 2 years ago and was told it was under repair. Returned 4 times since over a two year period and still no pool. One of the staff members told me there are no plans to repaired the pool. Fine but it should be taken off the advertisement.
"Comfortable hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 19, 2013
We spent two nights here. Everything was great except the wifi was very spotty, close to nothing, in our room. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Room was big and the bathroom was decent size as well.
"close to subway"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 18, 2013
Only one minute from subway station. The neighborhood was not great but I didn't feel dangerous at night. Room was clean. Hotel staff were helpful.
"Great Location - right next to the train station"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 12, 2013
We had a short stay and left early (before breakfast). They even gave us a bagged breakfast for the road.

"Beautiful views"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 8, 2013
The hotel is directly across the Danube from the Parliament building. Excellent restaurants were close by. All tourist spots are within walking distance. There is a subway station a couple blocks away. We had a great experience with the hotel staff. Upon checking in, the gentlemen working at the desk were very courteous and handed my children a little activity pack. All the staff we came across spoke English quite well and were friendly. Our hotel room was perfect for two adults and two small children. I appreciate and seek out hotels that do not charge per person. I highly recommend this hotel.

"Great Hotel, Great Location!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 27, 2012
Everything you read says to stay on the Pest side, but we found this hotel (which is located on the Buda side of the river) to be the perfect location. Located right below Castle Hill and a block from the Chain Bridge - easy walking distance to many of the major sites. I think it was better located to all the sites we wanted to see vs. some of the hotels we looked at in Pest. I had read a previous review that said a hotel employee moved their car so that they could park in the free parking area in front of the hotel. I remember thinking 'wouldn't that be great if that happened for us' and it actually did. The free parking was literally right in front of the hotel so the front desk could see all the cars parked there and we were not worried about the saftey of our vehicle at all. The staff was very helpful and accomodating even when our daughter got sick and we had to ask for her crib sheets to be changed several times, and also anticipated that we would need more towels with a sick child. The only down side was that breakfast was not included and the full breakfast seemed a bit expensive. There were several cafes right next to the hotel, but they did not open until 9, so it isn't very convenient if you are an early riser. However, the hotel did offer a "quick stop" breakfast that included two coissants, a hot cocoa and glass of orange juice for a reasonable price.

Great location on top of a hill by the castle, quiet, safe, wonderful staff and good breakfast. Was more than worth the price. Will stay again!
