"Close to Noxx"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 2, 2012
Excellent service. Very helpful staff. Substantial breakfast. Location was excellent for Noxx and also easy access to Antwerp center.

"Great Romantic Getaway"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 25, 2012
The Hotel Rubens was a last minute decision and booking via Hotels.com. We wanted to spend a night in Antwerp and see the city (I hadn't been there since I was a Merchant Sailor years ago). The hotel was a wonderful surprise. The location was PERFECT, right next to the main square and Cathedral. All the shopping and bars are right in the area, and the ability to walk home with bags of goods purchased was very easy. Best of all, the owners of the hotel were there to greet us, treated us very well, and very very friendly. We had a room with a courtyard view and an nice patio. The atmosphere was great and I would strongly recommend this hotel to others!

"close to train station and shopping"Reviewed by debbie h of "honolulu,hi" on Apr 7, 2012
the hotel is at a good location. convenient to the train station, if you will be taking the train to other places. walking distance to shopping, restaurants. the rooms were clean and spacious, modern looking. staff very friendly, and spoke english, which is helpful if you dont speak dutch or french.
"Great budget hotel close to the train station"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Mar 29, 2012
This hotel was an easy luggage roll from the central train station - a big plus. They also offered free wifi in the room. Another big plus. It's a budget hotel, and with that, you get a plain room with minimal extras, but for me, it worked out great. One thing to keep in mind is that they are undergoing major construction right now... not a huge deal for me, but may be if you need a breakfast room or have a problem with seeing construction materials everywhere.

Good hotel, good food, boring location, but for business and travel a good choice.

"A staff that really cares"Reviewed by Phil M of "LA, CA" on Nov 8, 2011
The room was comfortable and well kept with some obviously fresh fixtures recently installed giving it a modern flare. The location is close to both the main train station and intercity public transport. The real reason I am reviewing is to thank the amazing front desk staff who really went the extra mile. Patrick saw that we had a large list of things in the city to hit up and offered to take the list copy it and mark every single spot on a map for us. Wow! This really made our ambitious 2 day romp a lot easier.
"Everything You Need it to Be"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 11, 2011
The Ibis is not quaint and quirky, but after days of staying in B/Bs that were, the Ibis was everything we needed it to be -- clean, predictable, functional, safe, and pleasant. Because we weren't concerned about the condition or location of our lodgings, it allowed us to enjoy the city more. We would stay at Ibis on future trips to Europe.
