"An overall good stay"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 23, 2013
he Floris Hotel turned out to be a very good value as compared to others in and around main sightseeing part of Brugge. The staff were friendly and helpful. Be sure to call to reserve parking as the website did not specify that requirement. We parked on the street and, due to some misinformation, received a 30 euro ticket. The beds are comfortable, but are actually two twins pushed together instead of the double we expected. The rooms are larger than I'm accustomed to in Europe. Breakfast is hot and provided a good start to our three days. One of the outstanding qualities is the provisions for families travelling with children. They provided a crib for my granddaughter on request. There is also a large play area just off of the lobby that allowed us to watch my grandson play while we enjoyed breakfast. It is a short 10 minute walk to the market area with a stroller and a walking 3 year old. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and recommend The Floris as a very comfortable stay and a good value.
"Great location and price"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 20, 2013
Great, clean room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Adjacent to the train station and easy walk to downtown Brugge. We walk most places, so it is nice to drop the bags off and then walk a bit farther for the sites. Parking is inexpensive. The shower wall is frosted glass, so fine for couples, but could be uncomfortable for shy types. The only issues we had were with the window (doesn't open very far and the room was warm) and when the water hits the shower door, it gets on to the floor, so we had water all over the floor. The water temp of the shower was not consistent, but not so bad that it was too uncomfortable.
"Would stay again"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 20, 2013
This is a fantastic hotel. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The staff is really nice and helpful. The location is about a two minute walk from the main square and all the shops and restaurents. The breakfast is a really great addition to the room as well. The only con is that the wifi only works on the first floor. We would absolutely stay at this hotel again.
"Very close to the places I wanted to visit"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 19, 2013
While I chose a single room for a one night stay it was quite adequate with a large bathroom and shower/bath. The hotel staff was more than accomodating.

Outstanding from start to finish!
"Great Stay at Unique Hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 1, 2013
We loved our stay at the Egmond. It is more like a B&B than hotel, which we enjoyed. It was in a great location - next to very quiet, beautiful park, but 10 minute walk to town center. (It was in between the train station and town center which we found very convenient.) The only small issue was that bathroom was small, but that didn't bother us. The room was very large for a European hotel.
"Expensive but great!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 29, 2013
Great location, but expensive for parking (25 euro per night) and (35 euro per person) for breakfast. The price of hotel room is worth it, but parking or breakfast should be included.
"Great location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 27, 2013
We had a one night stay at this hotel. The room, service and staff were good. Only one thing to criticize is the bathroom, well it was literally a closet. All in all it is recommendable.
"Tucked away jem"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 20, 2013
Beautiful hotel with character. Location is perfect, close to the market square. Tucked away off street on canal. Beautiful views of canal during breakfast. Large room with large comfortable bed.
