"An overall good stay"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 23, 2013
he Floris Hotel turned out to be a very good value as compared to others in and around main sightseeing part of Brugge. The staff were friendly and helpful. Be sure to call to reserve parking as the website did not specify that requirement. We parked on the street and, due to some misinformation, received a 30 euro ticket. The beds are comfortable, but are actually two twins pushed together instead of the double we expected. The rooms are larger than I'm accustomed to in Europe. Breakfast is hot and provided a good start to our three days. One of the outstanding qualities is the provisions for families travelling with children. They provided a crib for my granddaughter on request. There is also a large play area just off of the lobby that allowed us to watch my grandson play while we enjoyed breakfast. It is a short 10 minute walk to the market area with a stroller and a walking 3 year old. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and recommend The Floris as a very comfortable stay and a good value.
"Great Stay at Unique Hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 1, 2013
We loved our stay at the Egmond. It is more like a B&B than hotel, which we enjoyed. It was in a great location - next to very quiet, beautiful park, but 10 minute walk to town center. (It was in between the train station and town center which we found very convenient.) The only small issue was that bathroom was small, but that didn't bother us. The room was very large for a European hotel.

In a town where everything is close together, this hotel seemed a bit further out. Still very walkable, but there are others which might be more conveninet to the foot-weary. Plus: bus stop is right out the front door of the hotel.
"Delightful Getaway"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 20, 2012
The hotel is a VERY short walk from Brugge historic area, on a quiet canal. The hotel & staff are delightful - what can beat waking up to ducks floating outside of your double opening windows, or while you're having a full northern European breakfast ? Room was larger than we expected, very updated bathroom, just a wonderful quiet, restful stay. We were surprised what a short walk it was to not only the center & market, but major museums & brewery tour. Would definitely stay again - and certainly return to Brugge!

Service was outstanding and the breakfast was incredible. Having off-street parking just added tio the overall satisfaction. We would highly recommend this hotel to those who want a more quaint experience.

Very good from the hospitality, location en cleanliness point of view. Less convenient points were : in our suite, you had to climb stairs to reach the bedroom and the bedroom was not completely furnished yet : no chairs and no wardrobe present in the room.
"IN BRUGGES"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 21, 2012
WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY HERE. WE ALWAYS TRY TO AVOID LARGE CHAIN HOTELS OR AMERICAN HOTELS......I MEAN WHAT;S THE POINT? BUT THIS CHARMING B&B WAS EVEN MORE STEEPED IN LOCAL COLOR AND CULTURE. WE HAD A ATTIC ROOM THAT WAS VERY HOMEY, THE BREAKFAST WAS VERY NICE AND THE OWNER COULD NOT HAVE BEEN NICER OR MORE HELPFUL.
